Happy 50th Anniversary

We are proud to announce that June 2008 is the 50th anniversary of Dairyland Labs.  Originally established to provide butterfat testing for cheese plants, we now service accounts from 42 states, 6 Canadian provinces and over 13 foreign countries.  While there are many people to thank for our success, a very special thank you goes out to our customers.  We sincerely appreciate your business and look forward to serving you for another 50 years.

New Feed Sample Submission Cards

You'll notice a new look on our information cards.  As this card stays with the samples throughout the entire testing process, we needed to add some items to the right hand side of the card.  This column is designed for internal use only.  We ask that you please leave that section clear of all markings.  We would still appreciate three samples per business reply mailer and feel free to include two cards per envelope.

Cow Relevant Starch Digestibiliy "adjusted" for particle size

Particle size plays a significant role in the determination of starch digestibility.  This is important in the animal and also in the laboratory.  The Sapienza/Dairyland method of Cow Relevant Starch Digestibility (CRSTRD) utilizes a coarse grind size so that 70% of the particles are between 6 and 8 mm.  To learn more click here CRSD for Particle Size
