Whenever there is a change in herd productivity, including milk production or quality, or a herd health concern, it is a good idea to consider whether it could be related to the livestock feed.  Researchers at Penn State University recommend testing for mycotoxins when unexplained herd health issues arise, particularly among large numbers of livestock.
